In June 1987, Amnesty International published a report on political imprisonment and torture in the PRK. It was based on first-hand testimony and described many allegations of lengthy imprisonment without charge or trial and of torture.
នៅក្នុងខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៨៧ ការលើកលែងទោសជាអន្ដរ ជាតិបាន ចុះផ្សាយ នូវរបាយការណ៍ស្ដីពីការដាក់គុកខាងនយោបាយ និងទារុណកម្ម នៅក្នុងសាធារណរដ្ឋប្រជានិមិតកម្ពុជាដោយផ្ដោតទៅលើសាក្សី ដំបូង និងរៀបរាប់ពីការបំផ្ញើសជាច្រើននៃការបន្ដដាក់គុកជាច្រើនឆ្នាំដែលគ្មាន ការចោទប្រកាន់រឺគ្មានការកាត់ទោសនិងនៃការធ្វើទារុណកម្ម។
