Mr Akashi said UNTAC development had begun on the day of his arriveal in Phnom Penh, 15 March. He hoped that development would be completed by mid-May or at the latest 20 May so that UNTAC could start to schedule the process of regrouping, contonment and demobilization in the middle of June.
លោក អាកាស៊ី បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា មាការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ដោយចាប់ផ្ដើម នៅថ្ងៃនៃការមកដល់របស់គាត់នៅក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ ថ្ងៃទី ១៥ ខែមិនា ។ គាត់បានសង្ឃឹមថាការអភិវឌ្ឍន៍គួរតែបញ្ចប់នៅពាក់កណ្ដាលខែឧសភា ឬចុង ក្រោយបំផុតថ្ងៃទី ២០ ឧសភា ដូចេ្នហើយ អ៊ុន តាក់ គួរតែចាប់ ផ្ដើមរៀបចំកាលវិភាគអំពីដំណើរការនៃការប្រមូល ការបែងចែក និង ដាស់តឿន នៅពាក់កណ្ដាលខែ មិថុនា។
