Keth Dara a complete unknown comander of 200 armed forced conquered the capital. Within 2 hours, he took over most of the city. However, by 8:30 Keth Dara armed forces were disarmed. The whole city was occupied by the Khmer Rouge soldiers.
កេត ដារ៉ា ជាមេបព្ជាការទ័ពដែលមិនមានសមាសភាគច្បាស់លាស់ដោយត្រឹម។ តែមានកងម្លាំង២០០នាក់ បានបព្ជាឱ្យវាយចូលកាន់កាប់ទីក្រុង(រាជធានី)។ ត្រឹមតែពេល២ម៉ោង ដារ៉ា បានចូលកាន់កាប់ទីក្រុងជាច្រើន។ ប៉ុន្ដែនៅម៉ោង៨ៈ៣០ កងកម្លាំងរបស់ កេត ដារ៉ា បានទម្លាក់អាវុធចុះចាញ់។ ទីក្រុងទាំងអស់ត្រូវបានគ្រប់គ្រងដោយយោធាខ្មែរក្រហម។
