As the Vietnamese Army closed in on the remaining forces of austed Cambodia detator Pol Pot, 30,000 Khmer Rouge retreated, they left behind one last bitter legacy. They burnt Cambodian rice barns and sowed paddies with mines to prevent them from being planted.
ពេលដែលទាហានវៀតណាមបិទលើកងកម្លាំងដែលនៅសេសសល់ពីការបណេ្ដញនៃមេដឹកនាំផ្ដាច់ការ ប៉ុល ពត ៣០០០០ នៃខ្មែរក្រហមបានដកថយ ហើយបន្សល់ទុកនូវកេរ្ដិ៍ឈ្មោះដ៏ល្វីងជូរចត់។ ពួកគេបានដុតបំផ្លាញជម្រុកស្រូវ និង សាបព្រោះស្រូវជាមួយនឹងមីនដើម្បីការពារពួកគេពីការដំាដុះ។
