John G. Healey said that Amnesty International needed McCarthy's particular, personal help in a very important part of its struggle for human rights. Amnesty International published a report on Cambodia documenting human rights violations including torture and political improsonment.
ចន ជី ហេលធ្លី បានសរសេរនៅក្នុងសំបុត្រថា អង្គការលើកលែងទោស អន្ដរជាតិពិតជាត្រូវការការជួយយ៉ាងពិសេស និងជំនួយផ្ទាល់ខ្លួនរបស់ ម៉េត ខាធី ដែលមានសារៈសំខាន់បំផុតនៅក្នុងផ្នែកដែលជួយដោះស្រាយ ទៅលើបញ្ហាសិទិ្ធមនុស្ស។ អង្គការលើកលែងទោសអន្ដរជាតិក៏បានចុះ ផ្សាយនូវរបាយការណ៍ថ្មីស្ដីពីកម្ពុជា ឯកសារទាក់ទងនឹងការរំលោភបំពាន ទៅលើសិទិ្ធមនុស្សដូចជាការធ្វើទារុណកម្ម និងការឃុំឃាំងទៅលើអ្នកទោស នយោបាយ។
