Main Crime Details :
Killing:

When we were evacuated out of Kampong Thom Province in April of 1975, my husband, Soeung Yeung, and I were separated by Khmer Rouge militiamen. I tried to find to him, but finally I learned that he had been killed by the Khmer Rouge. Ta Chim, who was responsible for taking people for re-education, told me that Angkar had taken my husband for re-education (at an unknown location). One night later , Yey Suth, a base person, told me that my husband had been taken away and killed. I met Yey Suth at Krayah Sang Kream in Baray District, Kampong Thom Province.

My brothers, Soeun and My, were taken along with my husband and executed. Neither Yey Suth nor I know where they were executed. Ta Chim was responsible for taking people to be executed. Yey Suth let me know that my husband, together with Soeun, My, Yoeng, Yan, and Koh, were taken away and killed. I do not know who took my husband, brothers, and other the other four to the location where the killings took place. However, I think that Ta Chim is responsible for their executions because he was the one who gave orders to the militiamen. My husband died because he was accused of being a Lon Nol soldier.
Other Crime :
Family separation:

Angkar separated me from my daughters, Roeun and Ty, after April 17, 1975. Today my two daughters are still alive. At the time, my daughters were put to work in a mobile unit at O Chhlaung, Taing Kok District, Kampong Thom Province. One daughter was twenty years old and the other one was sixteen years old. Angkar sent me to live in Samrieng Commune, Taing Kok District. My daughters and I never saw each other during the regime. I could not inquire about them at the time. After the liberation on January 1979, our family was reunited.

My daughter told me that she and her sister had asked Angkar if they could go home to visit their mother, but Angkar refused. Comrade Prech, the unit chief, separated my daughters from me. Comrade Thaong and Meas ordered Comrade Prech to take my daughters away from me.
