Government casualties were put much higher, by the insurgents. According the radio in Thailand, there were 740 armed clashes with Thai government forces in 1977, and attacked on 53 government pasts. The communists killed or injured 3,445 people, took 101 prisoners of war and destroyed 27 aircraft and helicopters.
ចំនួនរបួសនឹងស្លាប់នៅក្នុងជួរដ្ឋាភិបាលកាន់តែមានភាគច្រើនឡើៗដោយសារតែការបដិវត្ដន៍។ យោងតាមការផ្សាយរបស់វិទ្យុនៅប្រទេសថៃ កងប្រដាប់អាវុធ៧៤០ បានប៉ះគ្នាជាមួយកម្លាំងរដ្ឋាភិបាលថៃក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ និងត្រូវបានវាយប្រហារទៅលើអតីតរដ្ឋាភិបាល៥៣។ បក្សកុម្មនិស្ដបានសម្លាប់រឺក៏ព្យាបាលប្រជាជនចំនួន៣៤៤៥នាក់ចាប់យក១០១នាក់ធ្វើជាឈ្លើយសឹកសង្គ្រាម និង បំផ្លាញយន្ដហោះនិង យន្ដហោះចម្បាំងចំនួន២៧គ្រឿង។
