Since December 25, 1978, Democratic Kampuchea become the victim of the aggression and invasion perpetrated by Vietnam, backed by the Soviet Union, of which more than 200,000 Vietnamese soldiers had been engaging in the most dangerous war of extermination against the people of Kampuchea.
ចាប់ពីខែធ្នូ ទី២៥ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ កម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យបានក្លាយជាជនរង គ្រោះដោយសារតែការឈ្លានពាននិងការរំលោភសិទិ្ធដែលប្រព្រឹត្ដឡើង ដោយក្រុមវៀតណាមដែលមានសហភាពសូវៀតនៅពីក្រោយពីខ្នង ហើយ ទាហានវៀតណាមជាង ២០០០០០ ដែលចុះកិច្ចសន្យាក្នុងការធ្វើ សង្គ្រាមដ៏គ្រោះថ្នាក់បំផុតនៃវិនាសកម្មដែលប្រយុទ្ធប្រឆាំងនឹងប្រជាជន កម្ពុជា។
