After the fighting ended at 8 am, the army vehicles with loud speakers began touring the city telling people to display white flag. It was said that Premier Long Boret had flown to Kampong Chnnang to form resistance forces. Prince Sirik Matak refused to leave the country.
បន្ទាប់ពីសង្គ្រាមបានបញ្ចប់នៅម៉ោង៨ៈ០០ ព្រឹកមិញ រថយន្ដយោធាដែលបំពាក់ឧបករណ៍បំពងសមេ្លង បានចាប់ផ្ដើមជិះតាមផ្លូវក្នុងទីក្រុងដើម្បីធ្វើការអំពាវនាវទៅប្រជាជនឱ្យដាក់ទងស។ ការអំពាវនាវបាននិយាយថា លោកនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី ឡុង បូរ៉េត បានធ្វើដំណើរទៅខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ដើម្បីបង្កើតកងកម្លាំងតស៊ូ។ ព្រះអង្គម្ចាស់ សិរីមតៈ បានបដិសេធលើការចាកចេញពីប្រទេសកំណើតរបស់ខ្លួន។
