Chanthou Boua had interviewed Om Tit at Watt Moha Mundrei, Phnom Penh. He said he and other monks were called to a meeting where they were asked whether Buddhism should be abolished or not. He spoke against the abolition of Buddhism. Khmer Rouge cadres bang the table; then there came the order to disrobe.
ពណ៌ ចន្ធូ បានសម្ភាសជាមួយ អ៊ំ ទិត នៅឯវត្ដមហាមន្ដ្រី ភំ្នពេញ។ ទិត និយាយថ គាត់ និងព្រះសង្ឃផេ្សងៗ បានហៅទៅជុំគ្នានៅកន្លែងដែលពួកគេចង់ដឹងពីថា តើព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា គួតែត្រូវលុបបំបាត់ចោលឬអត់។ ទិតបានប្រឆាំងនឹងការលុបបំបាត់ចោលនៃព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ កម្មាភិបាលខ្មែរក្រហមបានដាល់តុ (ទះតុ) បន្ទាប់មកបានព្ជាឱ្យចាប់សិក (សម្រាតស្បម)។
