Phchum Ben ceremony is a Cambodian festival during which food is offered to Buddhist monks in the hope that such a dead will benefit the spirits of dead relatives, All Cambodian people celebrate Phchum Ben ceremony to make merit for their parents, relatives revolutionary soldiers, Vietnamese combatants and all compatriots who sacrificed their life effort the cause of nation and people.
ពីធីបុណ្យភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌគឺជាពិធីបុណ្យជាតិមួយរបស់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា ក្នុងអំឡុង ពេល ដែលចំណីអាហារ(ចង្ហាន់) នានាយកទៅប្រគេនដល់ព្រះសង្ឃក្នុង គោលបំណង អ្នកដែលបានស្លាប់ទៅនិងទទួលបានបុណ្យកុសលផលបុណ្យ ដែលបានធ្វើទៅឱ្យ(សាច់ញាតិអ្នកស្លាប់)។ ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាប្រារឰពិធី បុណ្យភ្ជុំបិណ្ឌដើម្បីកសាងកុសលផលបុណ្យ (បុណ្យទាន) សម្រាប់«ពុក ម្ដាយរបស់ពួកគេ,សម្រាប់ទាហានបដិវត្ដន៍, យុទ្ធជនវៀតណាមនិងសម្រាប់ អ្នកសេ្នហាជាតិទាំងឡាយដែលបានពលីជីវិតក្នុងបុព្វហេតុជាតិនិង ប្រជាជន។
