Only three hours after a South Vietnamese Air Force jet fighter-bomber the Presidential Palace, President Thieu made a broadcast to the nation stressing that the attack was in no way a coup d'état.
បីម៉ោងក្រោយប៉ុណេ្ណះ ក្រោយពីកងទ័ពជើងអាកាសវៀតណាមខាងត្បូង បានបព្ជាឱ្យមានប្រតិបត្ដិការយន្ដហោះចម្បាំងប្រយុទ្ធមកលើផ្ទះរបស់លោកនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី។ លោកនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី ធៀវ បានធ្វើការផ្សាយទៅកាន់ប្រជាជាតិថា ការវាយប្រហារនេះគឺមិនមែន រដ្ឋប្រហារទេ។
