Chhun Sarun, 25, chief of platoon of battalion 104, was born in Preah Sdech district, Prey Veng province. Sarun joined the army in unit K-94 in 1970 with Oung taking the responsibility. In 1973, Oung indoctrinated Sarun to join the Free Khmer and assigned him to battalion 104 to counter the revolutionary movement. In 1975, Oung assigned Sarun to air forces unit 502 to wait for time to take over Phnom Penh in July 1976.
ឈុន សារុន អាយុ ២៥ ឆ្នាំ ប្រធានកងអនុសេនាតូចក្នុងអង្គភាព វរសេនាតូច ១០៤ កើតនៅស្រុកព្រះសេ្ដច ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ សារុន បានចូលទ័ពនៅអង្គភាពគ-៩៤ ក្នុងឆ្នាំ ១៩៧០ មានឈ្មោះ អ៊ូង ជាអ្នកទទួលខុសត្រូវ ។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ អ៊ូង បានអប់រំសារុនឱ្យចូលចលនាខ្មែរសេរី ហើយបានចាត់តាំងឱ្យទៅអង្គភាពវរសេនាតូច ១០៤ ដើម្បីធ្វើសកម្មភាពប្រឆាំងនិងចលនាបដិវត្ដ ដល់ ១៩៧៥ អ៊ូង ចាត់តាំង សារុន ឱ្យទៅបង្កប់ អង្គភាពអាកាស ៥០២ ដើម្បីចាំធ្វើសកម្មភាពវាយសង្គ្រប់ភ្នំពេញនៅខែ៧-១៩៧៦។
