Two years after the communist victories, more refugees continued to flee Indochina than could find permanent homes on the outside. International refugees officials said they were trying to convince the Asian government to give perminent arylum to refugees and many refugees to give up dreams of lives United States, Europe or elsewhere.
២ឆ្នាំក្រោយពីជ័យជំនះបក្សកុម្មនិស្ដ មានជនភៀសខ្លួនជាច្រើននៅតែបន្ដភៀសខ្លូនចេញពីឥណ្ឌូចិន បន្ទាប់ពីអាចស្វែងរកជម្រកអចិន្ដ្រៃយ៍នៅឯក្រៅប្រទេស។ ជនភៀសខ្លួនអន្ដរជាតិបាននិយាយជាផ្លូវការថាពួកគេគឺបានព្យាយាមធ្វើឱ្យរដ្ឋាភិបាលប្រទេសអាស៊ីទាំងអស់ផ្ដល់ឱ្យនូវជម្រកអចិន្ដ្រៃយ៍ដល់ជនភៀសខ្លួន និងមានជនភៀសខ្លួនមួយចំនួនមានសេចក្ដីប្រាថ្នាខ្ពស់ក្នុងការរស់នៅក្នុងទឹកដីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក អឺរ៉ុប ឬក៏កន្លែងផេ្សងៗទៀត។
