A year after setting up its first overseas trade mission in Hong Kong, Cambodia had finally made its appearance in the international market with sale of small quantities of rice, rubber, kapok and pepper. In the first five month, Phnom Penh exported US$154,000 worth of rice, rubber and kapok to Japan.
១ឆ្នាំក្រោយពីបង្កើតជាបេសកកម្មពាណិជ្ជកម្មខាងក្រៅប្រទេសររបស់ខ្លួននៅឯទីក្រុងហុងកុង។ ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ទីបំផុតបានសមេ្រចធ្វើឱ្យចេញជារូបរាងលើទីផ្សារសេរីជាមួយដំណើរការលក់ស្រូវអង្ក, ជ័រកៅស៊ូ គរ មេ្រច ក្នុងបរិមាណតិចតូច។ ៥ខែដំបូង ក្រុងភ្នំពេញ បាននាំចេញទៅជប៉ុនក្នុងខ្ទង់តម្លៃ ១៥៤,០០០ ដុល្លារសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ដែលមានផលិតស្រូវអង្ករ ជ័រកៅស៊ូ គារ។
