Chhun Chay, working in small cell, division 170, confessed that he indoctrinated Sang was a network of Chakrei, chief of division 170. In 1974, Chakrei assigned Say to make contact with the main base at Baray military base that Samret, Chhouk and Chay had established in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Chakrei gave Sang a canoe with B-40 and B-41 guns in order to protect himself. Sang transported rice, weapons, and ammunitions, to keep at the main base under the order of Chakrei.
ឈុន ចយ កងតូច កងពល១៧០ បាននិយាយថា សង ជាខ្មែរ សេរីនៅក្នុងខ្សែរបស់ ចក្រី ប្រធានកងពល១៧០។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ចក្រី បានចាត់តាំងអោយសងទាក់ទង មូលដ្ឋានបង្អែកនៅបន្ទាយបា រ៉ាយដែលខ្លួនបានបង្កើតជាមួយ សំរិត និង ឈូក នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១, ៧២, ៧៣។ ចក្រី បានប្រគល់កាណុតអោយ សង មួយគ្រឿង ដោយមានបំពាក់អាវុធធុនបេ៤០ និងបេ៤១ដើម្បីការពារខ្លួន។ សងដឹកជញ្ជូនអង្ករ អាវុធ គ្រាប់រំសេវ យកទៅមូលដ្ឋាន បង្អែកតាមការចាត់តាំងរបស់ ចក្រី។
