President Khieu Samphan asserted that agricultural production in the first three months of 1977 far exceeded than 1976. He added that Cambodia now had enough rice and rubber for export. However, the President made no reference to the starvation, disease and widespread executions reported by many Cambodian refugees.
ប្រធានាធិបតី ខៀវ សំផន អះអាងថា ទិន្នផលកសិកម្មនៅក្នុងរយៈពេល៣ខែនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ បានកើនឡើងខ្ពស់ជាងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦។ គាត់បន្ថែមថាប្រទេសកម្ពុជាសព្វថ្ងៃមានអង្ករ និង កៅស៊ូគ្រប់គ្រាន់សំរាប់នាំចេញ។ តែទោះជាយ៉ាងណាប្រធានាធិបតី បិទបាំងអំពីការអត់ឃ្លាន ការឆ្លងជម្ងឺរាតត្បាត និង របាយការណ៍ប្រតិបត្ដិដែលរីករាលដាលដោយជនភៀសខ្លួនកម្ពុជាជាច្រើននាក់។
