Cambodia lacked the food to keep its people alive. Years of war and disastrous government have pushed the farmers from their hand. Vietnam had provided some food to the Phnom Penh government. But that was not enough and it was politically managed.
ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា បានជួបកង្វះខាងស្បៀងអាហារក្នុងការរក្សាជីវិតរបស់ប្រជាជនខ្លួន។ ឆ្នាំនៃសង្គ្រាម និង រដ្ឋាភិបាលបានម្រុញឱ្យកសិករធ្វើស្រែ។ ប្រទេសវៀតណាមបានបែងចែកស្បៀងអាហារមួយចំនួនមកកាន់រដ្ឋាភិបាលក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ប៉ុន្ដែវាមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ទេ និង វាជានយោបាយគ្រប់គ្រាន។
