Cambodians voted in the first election since the communist took over. Phnom Penh radio said Prince Norodom Sihanouk was one of several condidates to win an Assembly seat with 100 percent of the vote. Other 100 percent winner were Prime Minister Penn Nouth, Vice Premier Khieu Samphan and Ieng Sary.
ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជា បានបោះឆ្នោតជាលើកដំបូងចាប់តាំងពីបក្សកុម្មនិស្ដកាន់កាប់អំណាច។ វិទ្យុភំ្នពេញ បានផ្សព្វផ្សាយថា សមេ្ដច នរោត្ដម សីហនុ គឺជាបេក្ខភាពម្នាក់អាចនឹងឈ្នះលើការបោះឆ្នោតក្នុងកៅអីសភាមួយរយភាគរយ។ រីឯអ្នកឈ្នះមួយរយភាគរយលើបេក្ខភាពជានាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីគឺបានទៅលើក ប៉ែន នុត និង នាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីស្ដីទីបានទៅលើ ខៀវ សំផន នឹង អៀង សារី។
