A total of $222 million dollars in emergency aid had been given to Cambodia by US president Ford. Evacuation of orphans (50)would be taken to the US, and 350 refugee children will be flown to Australia. Khmer Rouge destroyed the airport in Phnom Penh, where American cargo planes came to drop food and supplies.
ប្រាក់ឧបត្ថម្ភជាងពីរយម្ភៃពីរលានដុល្លាសំរាប់ជំនួយសង្គ្រោះអាសន្នបានប្រគល់ជូនកម្ពុជាដោយប្រធានាធិបតីសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកលោក ហ្វ៉ត។ កុមារកំព្រារដែលជម្លៀសចេញ (ហាសិបនាក់) ត្រូវបានយកទៅរស់នៅសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកនិងជនភៀសខ្លួនកេ្មងៗ បីរយហាសិបនាក់ត្រូវបានបព្ជាូនទៅអូស្ដ្រាលី។ ខ្មែរក្រហមក៏បានបំផ្លាញព្រលានយន្ដហោះនៅភ្នំពេញដែលជាកន្លែងដែលយន្ដហោះផ្ទុកទំនិញរបស់អាមេរិកទម្លាក់ស្បៀងអាហារ និង សំភារៈសំរាប់ផ្គត់ផ្គង់។
