He joined the Revolution with the rank as leader of a survey team in Prey Veng Province. He was a member of Chakrey's group. He allegedly joined the C.I.A in 1976, then he built up C.I.A forces in order to destroy radio stations, set fire to ammunition warehouses, and attack the KR. Angkar arrested him on 18th May 1977.
