Chea Sarom is PTSD victim. She got married to Iem Sarin when she was 20 years old. Her husband was sent to kill in 1977. She has two children. Her father called Chhim Chea, but died during the Khmer Rouge regime. Her mother called Sam Kay died in 1979. She has three siblings, two sisters and a brother. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was brainwashed. She was forced to separate from her family members. She has been suffocating for the last two years. Recently, she feels as though the event is happening again. She feels fumpy. She has trouble sleeping. She feels irritable. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emtional. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happened to her. She has difficulty in performing her daily tasks. She feels that she has no one to rely on. She finds out by other people that she has done something that she cannot remember.
