Summary / Abstract :

A Thai Army source on 7 September disclosed that on the morning of 6 September, 2000 Vietnamese aggressor and Hang Samrin troops launched an attack on Ban Tao village, which is the base of the Khmer People's National Liberation Front [KPNLF]army, but were opposed by the KPNLF troops. The two sides fought with artillery pieces for about 6 hours before Vietnamese and Heng Samrin troops retreated.
