On June 16, 1973, a Khmer communist Kann I, in charge of carrying M30 shells, was arrested in Tek La-Ak, Phnom Penh by national soldiers in battalion 293. The unit, located in Trach Tong village, Yea Ang sub-district, Thpong district, Kampong Speu province, was under the command of Thy who came from Hanoi and was in charge of supplying ammunition. The weapons, used in the unit, comprised of M82 mm, M81 mm, M 60 mm, M30, B40, M79, and sub machine guns...etc.
កាន់ អ៊ី ជាយុទ្ធជនខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដ មុខងារជាអ្នកជញ្ជូនគ្រាប់អ៊ឹម៣០ ហើយត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួនដោយកងកម្លាំងទ័ពជាតិនៃកងវរសេនាតូច ២៩៣ នៅទឹកល្អក់ក្រុងភ្នំពេញកាលពីថ្ងៃ១៦ មិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ អង្គភាពនេះមាននាទីជាអ្នកផ្ដល់គ្រាប់ឱ្យសមរភូមិមុខ ដែលមានទីតាំង នៅត្រង់ភូមិត្រាចទង ឃុំយារអង្គ ស្រុកថ្ពង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ ដែលមាន មេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ធី មកពីហាណូយ។ អាវុធដែលបានប្រើប្រាស់ ក្នុងអង្គភាពនេះមានៈ អ៊ឹម៨២, ៨១ និង៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ, អ៊ឹម៣០ បេ៤០, បង់ត្រឡោក និងអ៊ឹម៧៩។
