went in the last group of over 2,000 Phnom Penh people going to Battambang, not knowing exactly where he was going--went where Angkar said to go. Let off train in O Rumbang, 5km from Battambang City, 197606?? (BKI 20, p. 2018) ~ group taken to Wat Norea, 5 km from Battambang by truck, then put on ox-carts to be distributed to villages. Sen and family went to phum Prek Ambel, Srok Sangker, by the Sangker River. Went by cart to the headquarters of the cooperative. Attended work meetings for self criticism every three days, which he says were boring and repetitive (BKI 20, pp. 2019-2020) ~ In Battambang in 1976, hadn't heard of any killings, except for the execution of high officials in April 1975 there, 1976 (BKI 20, p. 2020) ~ witnessed people being tied up and taken to "Angkar Leu", 197610?? (BKI 20, p. 2020)
