As stipulated in the Paris Peace Agreements, UNTAC established checkpoints throughout the country. The resupply of armaments to the four factions and the redeployment of their armed units were to cease when the agreements were signed on 23 October, 1991.
ដូចបានចែងនៅក្នុងលក្ខណខណ្ឌកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទីក្រុងប៉ារីស អ៊ុន តាក់ បានបង្កើតប៉ុស្ដិ៍ត្រួតពិនិត្យពេញផ្ទៃប្រទេស។ មិនផ្គត់ផ្គង់គ្រៀងសញ្វ អាវុធទៅកាន់ក្រុមឧទ្ទាមទាំងបួន និង ការដាក់ពង្រាយកងកម្លាំង ប្រដាប់ អាវុធដែលបានចុះហត្ថលេខាលើកិច្ច ព្រមព្រៀងនៅថ្ងៃទី ២៣ តុលា ឆ្នាំ ១៩៩១ ។
