Before April 17, 1975 Khuon appointed Kim as a person, who was directly responsible to receive traitorous soldiers. Moreover, Kim and comrade Oeun were appointed as deputy chief of division 1 in Northern zone.
មុនថ្ងៃ១៧-៤-១៩៧៥ ឃួន បានឱ្យឈ្មោះ គឹម ជាអ្នកទទួល យោធាក្បត់ផ្ទាល់ ហើយបានចាត់តាំង គឹមជាអនុប្រធានកងពលទី ១ របស់ភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ ជាមួយសមមិត្ដអឿន។
