Prom Sovann, ranked 1, along with Ngil Tun, was a member of the Svay Trana group. Both were preparing for a fight against the Khmer Rouge, and their strategy was such that they would attack the troops the moment they arrived, whether ten thousand or twenty thousand in number, as they could not exist together with them.
