In 1976, the Khmer Rouge assigned me to build Trapeang Thma dam. The Khmer Rouge put me to work without relief, day and night. Eating insufficient food, I became exhausted.
In 1977, the Khmer Rouge evacuated my family from Kok Prech Village to a new village, Kok Metai cooperative. In January, 1978, the Khmer Rouge ordered me to dig O Taphal Canal, located in Preah Net Preah of Region 5. On August 28, 1978, the Khmer Rouge arrested my uncle and sibling and took them for re-education, and they have never been seen since. |
