He was educated by Sam Sary in 1957. He allegedly educated students to hate the feudalist and capitalist regime. He allegedly joined the K.G.B and in 1967, he joined the revolution in the jungle with Khieu Samphan, Hu Nim, and Hou Yuon. In 1973, he served in the KR party.
គាត់ទទួលការអប់រំដោយ សំ សារី នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៥៧។ គាត់បានអប់រំ សិស្សឱ្យស្អប់របបសក្ដិភូមិនិយម និង របបមូលធននិយម។ គាត់បាន ចូលរួមជាមួយ កា ហេ្គ បេ និង នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៧ គាត់បានចូល បដិវត្ដន៍ក្នុងព្រៃស្បាតជា ខៀវ សំផន, ហុ នីម និង ហូ យួន។ នៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ គាត់បម្រើនៅក្នុងបក្សខ្មែរក្រហម។
