Makk Phan aka Chhean confessed that in July 1975, Hong You aka Han told him that he had built up Nan. Nan took responsible for leading combatant to fight when the plan was set up. In February 1976, Nan was assigned to be a committee leading traitorous activities. In April 1976, Nan received the plot from Makk Phan aka Chhean to attack the party on April 17, 1976.
ម៉ក់ ផាន ហៅ ឈាន បានសារភាពថា នៅខែ ៧-១៩៧៥ ហុង យូ ហៅ ហាន បាននិយាយប្រាប់ខ្លួនថា កសាង ណាន បាន។ ណាន មានភារៈកិច្ចដឹកនាំប្រយុទ្ធនៅពេលមានផែនការ។ ដលខែ២-១៩៧៦ ណាន ត្រូវបានបញ្ចូលក្នុងគណៈកម្មការ ដឹកនាំធ្វើសកម្ម ភាពក្បត់។ ខែ៤-១៩៧៦ ណាន បានចូលប្រជុំទទួលផែនការ វាយបក្សថ្ងៃទី១៧-៤-១៩៧៦ ពីប្អូន ម៉ក់ ផាន ហៅ ឈាន។
