Eight Khmer Communists defected to the society to work together with military authority. They asked to serve the government of Khmer Republic and they also promised that they didn’t return to serve Khmer Communist and Viet Cong (North Vietnam) movement. These 8 people were sent to Svay Rieng center on Apr 1974.
ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដ៨នាក់ បានចូលមកសារភាពដើម្បីរួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិ វិញដើម្បីរួមកម្លាំងជាមួយអាជ្ញាធរយោធា និងសុំរួមរស់ទៅបម្រើរដ្ឋា ភិបាលនៃសាធារណរដ្ឋខ្មែរ ហើយបានសន្យាថាមិនវិលត្រឡប់ទៅបម្រើ ចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ និងវៀតកុងយួនខាងជើងឡើយ។ សម៉ីជនទាំង៨រូបនេះបានត្រូវបញ្ជូនទៅមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលខេត្ដស្វាយរៀង នៅថ្ងៃ២៥ មេសា១៩៧៤។
