In accordance with the declaration by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is founded on the decree law dated July 15, 1979, issued by the People's Revolutionary Council of Kampuchea, a trial hearing was convened. From August 15, 1979, until August 19, 1979, at the trial concerning the verdict of the crime of genocide, the People's Revolutionary Tribunal of Phnom Penh declared Pol Pot and Ieng Sary guilty of death penalty.
តាមសេចក្តីថ្លែងករណ៍ របស់ក្រសួងការបរទេស បានបង្កើតតាមក្រិត្យច្បាប់ ចុះថ្ងៃ១៥ កក្តដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ របស់ក្រមុប្រឹក្សាប្រជាជនបដិវត្តន៍ កម្ពុជា បានបើកសម័យសាវនាការ។ តុលាការ ពីថ្ងៃ ១៥,៨,៧៩ ដល់ថ្ងៃ១៩,៨,៧៩ ស្តីអំពីវិនិច្ឆ័យទោសប្រល័យពូជសាសន៍ តុលាការប្រជាជនបដិវត្តន៍នៅភ្នំពេញ បានកាត់ទោសប្រហារជិវិត ឈ្មោះ ប៉ុល ពត និង អៀងសារី ។
