Kampong Chork Prison: The names of the prison heads were Nguon and Phen; the two were notorious and ruthless killers who killed kids by beating their head on palm tree stumps located in east Kampong Chork Canal. Few prisoners taken to Kampong Chork Prison ever came back to their respective homes. As for Phnom Da Prison, all April 17 people and those related to them were killed by the Pol Pot regime in Phnom Da Prison. It was not only the killing of people that the Pol Pot regime committed, but also destruction of old temples and statues which they threw into pond waters.
