Kim Vanny, a 22-year-old woman of Chinese ethnic background living in Bakan Village, Bakan Commune, Prey Kabbas District, Takeo Province, had previously resided in Phnom Penh before the Liberation and then moved to Srae Ronong Commune, becoming a member of a youth collective there. He admitted that he used to steal things like cassava and palm juice from the collective at night.
