Kandal Province: According to Letter No. 384-K.V.P dated March 11, 1981, regarding the loss of certain antiquities during the Lon Nol regime, which were stolen and sold by wrongdoers. Other antiquities were almost destroyed during the Pol Pot regime. As for the mass graves located in S'ang District, they were submerged, causing the traces to disappear, and the mass graves are currently being researched and searched for.
ខេត្តកណ្តាល៖ យោងតាមលិខិតលេខ ៣៨៤-ឃ.វ.ព ចុះថ្ងៃទី១១ មិនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៨១ ស្តីកពីការ បាត់បង់វត្ថុបុរាណមួយចំនួន កាលពី ជំនាន់រដ្ឋអំណាច លន់ នល់ ដោយមានជនទុច្ចរិត លួចយកទៅលក់។ វត្តុបុរាណ មួយចំនួនទៀត ត្រូវបានបែកបាក់និងបាត់បង់ ស្ទើរ ទាំងអស់ នៅក្នុងអធិរាជ្យ ប៉ុលពត។ ចំណែករណ្តៅសាកសពវីញ ស្ថិតនៅស្រុកស្អាង ត្រូវបានលិចទឹកបណ្តាលឪ្យបាត់ស្លាកស្នាម ហើយរណ្តៅសាកសព កំពុងស្រាវជ្រាវរុករក។
