24,200 people were killed, among them 2,830 farmers, 879 workers, 183 monks and 2,308 officials, teachers and intellectuals. Some other buildings and properties were also destroyed.
ប្រជាជន ២៤,២០០នាក់ ត្រូវបានសម្លាប់ ក្នុងនោះមានកសិករចំនួន ២,៨៣០នាក់ កម្មករ ៨៧៩នាក់ ព្រះសង្ឃ ១៨៣អង្គ និង មន្ដ្រី ២,៣០៨នាក់ ដែលជាគ្រូបង្រៀន និង បញ្ញាជន។ អាគារ និង ទ្រព្យ សម្បតិ្ដផេ្សងៗមួយចំនួនទៀតក៏ត្រូវបានបំផ្លាញដែរ។
