Following the 1970 coup and the arrival of Vietnamese forces in the area, a Vietnamese commander named "A Patin" appointed San Samon, from Srae Boeng Village, Ponyei Khla Commune, as the administrative chief of Koh Andet District. Additionally, Khieu Khat (from Srae Chak Village) was appointed deputy district chief, and Lay Chim was named head of the Front. These appointments were made to organize activities and mobilize villagers to oppose the Party organization.
ក្រោយរដ្ឋប្រហារនឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ពេលយួនចូលមកក្នុងស្រុក កោះអណ្តែតមានមេទ័ពយួន ឈ្មោះ អា ប៉ាទិន បានចាត់តាំង ឱ្យឈ្មោះ សាន សាម៉ន នៅភូមិស្រែបឹង ឃុំពញៃខ្លា ជាប្រធាន ស្រុកកោះអណ្តែត ខាងរដ្ឋបាល និង ខៀវខាត់នៅភូមិស្រែចក ជាអនុប្រធានស្រុក ឡាយ ជីម ជាប្រធានរណសិរ្ស។ ដើម្បីរៀបចំ ធ្វើសកម្មភាព និង ធ្វើចលនា ប្រជាជននៅក្នុងភូមិ ប្រឆាំងនិង អង្គការបក្ស។
