Property destruction
When they came to power in 1975, the Khmer Rouge forced people to live a cooperative. They confiscated and destroyed my property, including nine cows, a cart, a house, and other belongings in the house. These items were also used as collective property. Because the leaders stated that we needed to share the property collectively, people who challenged them would be taken for re-education. Seth, the cooperative chief, ordered his people to collect the property from my house. I did not witness the incident, but my wife informed me about what happened when I arrived in the village. |

From 1976 to 1979, Sat, the Rovieng District Chief, sent me to collect fertilizer, carry cow dung, and make fertilizer in a community led by Seth. I was ordered to uproot trees in order to make a community warehouse. I did this task everyday and moved from place to place without returning to sleep at home or see my wife and children. |

I am not afraid of revealing this information, I do not need the court to help me, because everything I have stated is the truth.
