Ly Hai, soldier in salt field, confessed that Trung Phorn used to be Khmer Isarak and lived with Yiek Minh. In 1970, he joined the revolution in Vietnamese unit and later on turn to Khmer unit. In 1974 and 1975, Trung Phorn and Ly Hai were introduced by Nhem Soeung and Ta Sok, chief of region 25, to destroy waterwheel in order to obstruct the process of rebuilding the country. In October, 1975, Trung Phorn and Ly Hai got advice from Nhem Soeung to go to the sea region to destroy the revolution and convince workers at salt marsh to betray the revolution with him. Nhem Soeung was arrested by Angkar in December, 1975. However, Trung Phorn was still indoctrinated to betray the revolution until the day he was arrested.
លី ហៃ យុទ្ធជនស្រែអំបិលបានឆ្លើយថា ទ្រុង ផន ធ្លាប់ធ្វើឥស្សរៈ នៅជាមួយយួនយៀកមិញ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ចូលបដិវត្ដក្នុង អង្គភាពវៀតណាមរួច រត់មកចូលក្នុងអង្គភាពខ្មែរវិញ។ បន្ទាប់មក នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤-១៩៧៥ ទ្រុង ផន និងខ្លួន«លី ហៃ»បានទទួល ការណែនាំពី ញ៉ែម សឿង និង តាសុខ គណៈតំបន់២៥ធ្វើរហាត់- ទឹកអោយជាប់ ដើម្បីបង្អាក់ដំណើរកសាងប្រទេស។ នៅខែ១០ ឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៥ ទ្រុង ផន និងលី ហៃ បានទទួលការណែនាំពី ញ៉ែម សឿង នៅមាត់សមុទ្រ អោយបំផ្លាញបដិវត្ដ និងប្រមូលកម្លាំង កម្មករស្រែអំបិលអោយក្បត់ជាមួយពួកវា។ ឈ្មោះញ៉ែម សឿង ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅខែ១២ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឯទ្រុង ផន បានទទួល ការណែនាំខ្សែក្បត់ជាបន្ដទៅទៀត រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួន។
