Huot Bophana aka Mom confessed that Thon was a former student of faculty of medicine. After 17 April, he was evacuated to live in East Baray village and educated by Mom to betray the revolution. In September 1975, he joined the meeting and received plan to gather forces to struggle against revolution. In June 1976, he met Mom again and talked about the use of heart sign. They also invented subversive words and continued to gather traitorous forces.
ហួត បូផាណា ហៅ មុំ បានសារភាពថាឈ្មោះថុន ជាអតីតៈ និស្សិតមហាវិទ្យាល័យវិជ្ជសាស្ដ្រ ក្រោយ ១៧ មេសា ជំលៀស ទៅភូមិបារាយណ៍ខាងកើត ហើយបានទទួលការអប់រំពីខ្លួន«មុំ»អោយក្បត់បដិវត្ដ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ខែ៩ បានចូលប្រជុំទទួលផែនការ ប្រមូលកម្លាំងប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដ។ លុះដល់ខែ៧ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ចូលប្រជុំ ជាមួយខ្លួន«មុំ»ម្ដងទៀត អំពីប្រើផ្លាកសញ្ញាបេះដូងជាសំគាល់ ប្រឌិតពាក្យវិទ្ធង្សនាក្នុងមូលដ្ឋាន បន្ដប្រមូលកម្លាំងក្បត់ថែមទៀត។
