Nguon Pinh in division 290 didn't confirm in detail about the historical acts of Thuch and Yors Sophun. He said that when the party arrested Khieu Sok aka Ma and his partisans in division 290, Nguon Penh seeked advice from Thuch and Yors Sophun in order to respond to the situation. However, he didn't meet them because Angkar had asked Khieu to educate, so he returned back to the unit.
ងួន ពេញ កងពល ២៩០ មិនបានបញ្ជាក់អំពីប្រវត្ដិសកម្មភាព ពីមុនរបស់ ធុច និង យស សុផុន អោយបានល្អិតទេ វាថាពេល ដែលបក្សចាប់ ខៀវ សុខ ហៅ ម៉ា និងដៃជើងក្បត់នៅក្នុងកងពល ២៩០ អស់ហើយវា«ងួន ពេញ»មានផែនការសុំយោបល់ពី ធុច និងយស់ សុផុន ដើម្បីទប់ទល់សភាពការណ៍តែបានជួប ព្រោះអង្គការហៅ ខៀវ ទៅរៀនអស់វាក៏ត្រឡប់មកអង្គភាពវិញ។
