Ngan Thon aka Ram, [soldier of]State Warehouse Company, said that in 1973, Chann began to adopt a treacherous stance through Phan, [soldier of]Regiment. Chann colluded with the stealing of people's cows. The cows were provided to soldiers. Moreover, Chann planted mines along the frontline. As a consequence, a comrade was killed. Furthermore, Chann often attended the treasonous meeting. In July 1974, Ram lost contact with Chann due to the fact that Angkar transferred Ram to the battlefields around Phnom Penh.
ង៉ាន ថុន ហៅ រ៉ម អនុសេនាធំឃ្លាំងរដ្ឋបាននិយាយថា នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៣ ឈ្មោះចាន់ ក្បត់តាមរយៈផន វរសេនាធំ។ ចាន់បាន ចូលរួមលួចគោប្រជាជនយកទៅឱ្យទាហានយកមីនទៅដាក់ខ្សែត្រៀម ធ្វើពលីមិត្ដយើងម្នាក់។ ចាន់បានចូលរួមប្រជុំផែនការក្បត់ញឹក ញាប់។ នៅខែ៧-៧៤ រ៉មដាច់ការទាក់ទងជាមួយចាន់ ដោយអង្គការ ផ្លាស់រ៉ម ឱ្យមកវាយនៅក្បែទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។
