Phon Vann Ny aka Nin, soldier of State Commerce, conceded that Nguon was former District Chief of Prey Chhor in Northern Zone. In November 1976, Nhem disseminated the information on striking Phnom Penh. He told the Angkar in the meeting that Nguon and Loem was the commanders to attack the Northern Zone.
ឈ្មោះផុន វ៉ាន់នី ហៅ នីន យុទ្ធជនពាណិជ្ជកម្មរដ្ឋបានឆ្លើយថាៈ ឈ្មោះងួន នៅភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ អតីតជាចៅហ្វាយស្រុកព្រៃឈរ។ នៅខែ១១ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ឈ្មោះញ៉ែម បានផ្សព្វផ្សាយវាយភ្នំពេញ ហើយបានប្រាប់អង្គប្រជុំថា ងួន និង ឡឹម ជាអ្នកបញ្ជារវាយ ភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ។
