Um Samnang, train worker, confessed that Khut Som, railroad technician, worked as a spy at Para fortress in 1971. In 1976, he prepared to defect to the White Khmer. Khut Som distributed the leaflets in local areas and spread propaganda about the fact that In Tam and Loek Sam-oeun's troops moved from Dangrek mountainous rang and Preah Vihear to take control of Battambang Province in September 1976.
ឈ្មោះអ៊ំ សំណាង កម្មកររថភ្លើងបានឆ្លើយថាៈឈ្មោះឃុត សុំ អ្នកបចេ្ចកទេសផ្លូវដែកបានចូលធ្វើគិញនៅបន្ទាយប៉ារ៉ាភ្នំពេញ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ត្រៀមរត់ចូលខ្មែរស។ ឃុត សុំ ដើរបោះត្រាក់តាមមូលដ្ឋាននិងឃោសនាថាមានទ័ពអ៊ិន តាំ និង ឡឹក សំអឿន ចេញពីភ្នំដងរែក និងព្រះវិហារវាយយកខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង នៅខែ៩-១៩៧៦។
