Huot Bophana aka Mum, a new farmer of Baray district, Kampong Thom province, and a former CIA member, confessed that Ly, as a new farmer of Thnal Cheat village, Baray district, Kampong Thom province, was a former professor of the Faculty. After April 17, 1975, Ly, was evacuated to Baray district, and was convinced to be disloyal to the revolution by Taing Sivleng. Taing Sivleng, was arrested by the Angkar. In July 1976, Ly, was assigned to induce people not to believe the revolution, to increase traitorous forces, to distribute CIA-heart-symbols, and to lead people living in Thnal Cheat village to revolt against the revolution.
ឈ្មោះ ហួត បូផាណា ហៅ មុំ ជាកសិករថ្មីនៅស្រុកបារាយណ៍ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ និងជាសេអ៊ីអា បានឆ្លើយថាឈ្មោះ លី កសិករថ្មីនៅ ភូមិថ្នល់ជាតិ ស្រុកបារាយណ៍ ខេត្ដកំពង់ធំ ជាអតីតសាស្ដ្រាចារ្យនៅ មហាវិទ្យាល័យ។ ក្រោយ ១៧-មេសា-១៩៧៥ ជម្លៀសទៅនៅបារាយណ៍ ហើយត្រូវបាន តាំង ស៊ីវឡេង «ចាប់ហើយ» អូសទាញឱ្យក្បត់។ ខែកក្កដា-១៩៧៦ គ្រូ លី បានទទួលផែនការដោយបំផុស ប្រជាជនឱ្យបាត់ជំនឿលើបដិវត្ដន៍ ប្រមូលកម្លាំងក្បត់ ចែកផ្លាកសញ្ញា បេះដូង «សេអ៊ីអា» ដឹកនាំប្រជាជនភូមិថ្នល់ជាតិឱ្យបះបោរ។
