On February 10, 1977 Song, secretary of regiment 13 in division 310 critically demonstrated soldiers about the misery and the freedom's abuse that the Angkar persecuted them and the society. He convinced combatants to rebel against the revolution and intentionally staged a coup d'état in February 1977.
ថ្ងៃទី១០-២-១៩៧៧ ឈ្មោះ សុង ជាលេខាវរសេនាធំ ១៣ កងពល ៣១០ បានអប់រំជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់ដល់យុទ្ធជនពីការលំបាក និងការបំបិទសិទ្ធសេរីភាពរបស់អង្គការមកលើយុទ្ធជន និងសង្គមទាំងមូល។ បំផុស ឃោសនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យប្រឆាំងបដិវត្ដ ក្នុងគោលបំណងធ្វើរដ្ឋប្រហារវាយបដិវត្ដ នៅខែ២-១៩៧៧។
