Crime Info
Main Crime Location
Information relating to the alleged crimes I have five siblings. My younger sibling got married and has three children. Another younger sibling, Sa Ha was taken to be executed when the Vietnamese was about to arrive. Nak Malai and her husband, Nhiem Sophy, and three children have been unaccounted for. Elder sister, Ry Mah and niece/nephew, Man Him, were relocated to Kampong Speu province and died from starvation.
Other Crimes
Lost relatives: In 1977, I lost three relatives. Firstly, I lost my sibling, Say Ha, who disappeared in Sre Ambil. At that time, there were three Khmer Rouge (whose names I do not recall) who came to the cooperative dining hall to arrest and execute my sibling. My sibling was arrested because he confronted the Khmer Rouge about the terrible living conditions under their regime. I did not witness the incident, but Am Nas, who worked with my sibling (currently living in Boeng Tasrei Village, Boeng Taprum Commune, Preynup District), did witness the arrest. After the fall of the regime, she informed me of the incident. Under the regime, arrest meant death. I do not know who came to arrest him, or who was responsible for ordering his arrest. Being forced to eat pork: In 1977, my family and I lived in Prum Tauch Village, Srecham Commune, Preynup District, Preah Sihanouk Province. During that time, Lev (not known if he is alive) forced Chams to eat pork. Lev, a division soldier, was in charge of the village. At that time, Cham people dared not inform Lev that they were Cham because they feared that Lev would kill them. There were no funeral ceremonies or mosques for the Cham people. Mode of participation: I want to file the application form to be a complainant, because I have aged and am busy. I have to look after and educate Chams in the mosque of my village. Ideally, I am satisfied with my participation as a complainant before the ECCC to prosecute the Khmer Rouge.
