The enemies strongly attacked us at Trapeang Pream and Baray in region 24, but they were pushed back by our soldiers. During pushing them back, 5 tanks were destroyed and most of them were killed and wounded. We conquered Dong Thapp and Toeng Chauv downtowns and burnt 100 houses down. On April 8, 1978, two companies attacked us in Banteay Thmey situated near Ong Tann, during the fighting 15 enemies were shot dead and 5 others were wounded.
ពួកខ្មាំងវាយបុកមកតំបន់ ២៤ នៅត្រង់ត្រពាំងព្រាម និងបារាយណ៍ ត្រូវយើងវាយវាឱ្យបាក់ថយក្រោយ ដោយបាញ់ឆេះរថក្រោះ ៥គ្រឿង និងកំទេចឱ្យស្លាប់ និងរបួសជាច្រើននាក់។ យើងបានវាយ ចូលទីប្រជុំជន ដុងថាប់ និងតឹងចូវ ដុតផ្ទះឆេះរាប់រយខ្នង។ ថ្ងៃទី៨-៤-១៩៧៨ ខ្មាំងពីរអនុសេនាធំ វាយបុកយើងនៅបន្ទាយថ្មីជិត អុងតាន់ ត្រូវយើងវាយឱ្យងាប់ ១៥នាក់ និងរបួស ៥នាក់។
