Ros Nhim once attended a ceremony to open a dam in Battambang in Cambodian New Year, i.e., April 1976. He made a speech and said the victory of 1975 was an extremely significant victory because Cambodians were not supported by any foreign country including China. China did not support the struggle truly, he said (SH, JAP 3, p. 7) ~ a veteran fighter from the anti-French period, he went to Thailand sometime before 1954 (SH, JAP 3, p. 7) ~ According to the source, "Some people said he escaped to the West, presumably to Thailand in 1977 with Khek Bin (a liaison officer at the Thai-Cambodian border)" (SH, JAP 3, p. 7) ~ was arrested while serving as Northwest Zone secretary (SH, JAP 18, p. 37)
